Isles of Shoals Swim
in celebration of the
25th anniversary of
Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation

The Isles of Shoals are a group of small islands and tidal ledges situated 6.3 miles (~10.1 km) off the east coast, straddling the border of Maine and New Hampshire. The Isles of Shoals swim is an approximately 7 mile ocean swim from Appledore Island in Maine to the mainland at Rye Beach in New Hampshire. Entries can be for a solo swim or for multiple swimmer relays.
The 2026 swim recognizes the Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation’s 25 years of sustained efforts in marine science, education and stewardship.
